Success at ALL levels rests OUTSIDE the comfort zone yet nobody escapes the ΥΒΡΙΣ-ΝΕΜΕΣΙΣ cycle

Part of having a democracy is for all parties to understand that they have to accept defeat and walk away as "gentlemen" when that time has arrived.
Giving a clean state to the next in line is subsequently a major reality check on how much the defeated are willing to swallow the bitter pill.
Everybody is entitled to an opinion but when that opinion is based on creating emotional duress it leads back to square one. And when fear strikes, a dishonest vibe towards anything new, different, irrational and challenging is born, no matter whether it's part of a logic and strategic plan.
It's human nature after all (to think and act conservatively) and history has proven many times that it takes a lot of pride(?), balls(?) to jump outside of our comfort zone and accept losing everything rather than compromising.

Opens a sports bar for his son to be employed instead of staying with him and being a lazy ass fuck. Becomes popular in the community (sports is a must follow for the average man, and this is still a man centric society we are talking about), then gets elected as a council in the mayor's office, shuts the bar down...
